1. Have a landscape design to follow in order to have your entire
landscape come together as a whole.
2. Plant flowers for all the seasons to enjoy your home all year
long.
3. When having a fence gate installed for a walk way go 4 feet
and with a large yard make sure to place either a 6 or 8 foot gate on
the property. This allows access to the yard for future use such as trucks
and equipment or room to get the outdoor furniture to the yard.
4. When having a walk way or patio installed place a 2 in pipe
underneath in center areas to allow for lighting or irrigation to be run
in the future. This prevents us from having to cut up or pick up all your
pavers just to run an electrical or irrigation line.
5. Always make sure to have patios, soil and mulch sloped away
from the house in order to keep water away from your home.
6. Keep your gutters clean all year long
7. Always dig out a clean edge along your landscape. This will
delineate where the lawn and landscape begin.
8. Consider landscape lighting to extend the use of your yard
well into the night especially as the season's change.
9. Seal coat your driveway to extend the life of your asphalt.
10. Stay on top of your daily maintenance. Have the yard cut weekly
and keep an eye on your landscape beds to make sure they stay weed free.
It's easier and more affordable in the long run.
